The Delhi Pinjrapole Society (Regd.), Gaushala Marg, Kishanganj, Delhi, has been celebrating the auspicious Gopashtami function every year on its premises with great devotion, enthusiasm and religious fervour. The Society’s Gaushala serves not only as a centre dedicated to Gau Seva, but also as a place where religious, spiritual and cultural traditions are nurtured and celebrated throughout the year.
The 133rd Gopashtami Annual Mela was celebrated on 30 October 2025 with great grandeur, devotion and enthusiasm. The occasion witnessed the participation of numerous devotees, religious followers and distinguished guests, reflecting the deep faith and cultural significance associated with Gopashtami.
The Delhi Pinjrapole Society has constructed a beautiful Shri Ram Mandir, Shiv Mandir and Navgrah Mandir within the Gaushala premises, further enriching the spiritual environment of the Society.
The sacred idols and deities in the Shri Ram Mandir were ceremoniously installed in accordance with traditional Hindu rituals by the renowned and revered Brahmin, Shri Suneel Dixit Ji of Banaras.
The significant contribution and dedicated efforts of Shri Bharat Gupta Ji towards the construction and development of the temple complex are particularly noteworthy and deserve special appreciation.
The following deities are worshipped in the Shri Ram Mandir:
The Shiv Mandir houses the sacred Shivling along with the divine Shiv Parivar, which was ceremoniously installed in accordance with established religious traditions.
The Navgrah Mandir has been established with the consecration of all nine Navgrahas, providing devotees with an opportunity to offer prayers and perform traditional rituals dedicated to the nine planetary deities.
The temple complex was inaugurated by the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Delhi, Smt. Rekha Gupta Ji. The inauguration ceremony and associated celebrations were graced by several distinguished dignitaries, including Shri Vijender Gupta, Speaker of the Delhi Vidhan Sabha; Shri Jai Prakash Aggarwal, Ex. Member of Parliament; Shri Arjun Meghwal, Union Cabinet Minister; Shri Chetan Sharma, the Attorney General of Delhi High Court; Shri Ashok Goyal Devraha, MLA from the Model Town area; Shri Ajay Gupta; and other eminent personalities.
On the auspicious occasion marking Shri Narendra Modi Ji’s distinction as the longest-serving Prime Minister of India, the Gaushala organized a special Pooja at the Shri Ram Mandir, praying for his good health, longevity and well-being.
The Hon’ble Chief Minister of Delhi, Smt. Rekha Gupta Ji, along with other distinguished dignitaries, was present on the occasion. Smt. Rekha Gupta Ji also participated in the Pooja and performed Gau Seva by feeding the cows, making the occasion especially meaningful and auspicious.
A special religious function was also organized on the occasion of the birthday of Shri Anant M. Ambani. Prayers were offered for his good health, long life, prosperity and welfare, in keeping with the Society’s tradition of organizing religious ceremonies on auspicious occasions.
The Delhi Pinjrapole Society regularly organizes a wide variety of religious, spiritual and devotional programmes within the Gaushala premises. These activities contribute to the preservation, promotion and transmission of Hindu religious traditions and cultural values.
